TOP FIVES WITH VIDEOGRASS FILMER SEAN MCCORMICK

Top Five Reasons People Call You Bubble Boy:
1: I’m allergic to most living things.
2: I get severe motion sickness while driving in cars (they also call me Shotgun Sean).
3: I used to have upper back problems, so I would always walk around hurt, but that’s all cleared up now, don’t worry.
4: I had to get a labradoodle cause they don’t shed.
5: Most my friends are assholes…

Top Five Things You’ve Shot:
1: Heroin, crack, oh wait, like filmed?

Haha, yes. Like filmed.

1: Mikey, anything he did was my number 1.
2: Bennee’s last shot in Videograss, massive ollie.
3: Jordan’s last shot in Bon Voyage, bs 180 50-50 180 on a kink, it was a magical moment.
4: Jake OE’s last shot in Videograss, jumping into the dam.  It was terrifying watching him jump off that thing and the one he landed, he punched my camera on accident.  I think it was good luck. He claimed it by giving my camera knucks.
5: Filming with VG all the time cause it’s basically just hanging out with my buddies.

Top Five Shots You’ve Blown:
1: I blew a shot of Will last year doing a bs 180 down the MN Rail Gardens set and I felt like shit cause he had to go jump off that thing about 3 more times until he got it.
2: I blew a shot of Darrell doing a front board pop out in Videograss and for some reason he ended up liking it.
3: Last year Will did a switch bs 180 on a jump but nobody ever saw it cause the angle he landed it from I blew it and he could never land it again.
4: My first trip ever with Videograss, I was filming Darrell on a big gap and when he was towed in by a car the owner of the building was trying to rip the camera out of my hands while I was filming and the shot looked like shit and never got used, so I guess I blew that one…
5: Any fisheye shot that I cut off the head of the rider I consider half blown, which I have done plenty of times, so… sorry to all the guys I have decapitated.
5 1/2: Team Thunder days Will was trying the most insane thread the needle to death drop pole jam I have ever seen and I was so nervous that I pretty sure I blacked out during the 5 seconds and the shot looked like shit. They were supposed to use it in one of Jordan’s People parts but I think it was so badly blown it never got used, and by then it was too late to add into Will’s “Gold Country” part. blew it. It might have gotten used in a montage in “These Days”.

Top Five Team Thunder Moments:
1: We got our first and only pay check before Ally Dist. screwed us over for 5g’s, we went out and rented an RV. We got all the Team Thunder bro’s and one hoe (Desiree) and we drove from SLC to Bryan Head (Southern Utah), then we went to Vegas and had an interesting night, drove from there to Tahoe, Mammoth, Northstar and than back home.  There were 12 of us in a 7 man RV.  It was a blast…
2: We were filming in Ogden at an elementary school, and got shot at by some crack head. That was interesting.
3. Going out with Ben Gustafson anytime was an awesome time, that guy is the most creative snowboarder I’ve ever known to this day.
4: We were real bored one day and Ben decided that he wanted to go to the local park and do some crazy stuff with hay bales, it turns out anybody that knows of Team Thunder most likely only knows that we did a web video one time called “Hay Bales” .
5: Our first and last backcountry trip we went up McCall, Idaho, it was some of the most intense doubling anybody has ever done.  I don’t recommend it.  We got about 7 of us and went up there and got about 2 shots and that made it so it was our last backcountry trip we ever did again, we just stuck with hiking from there on out.

Top Five Videograss Moments:
1: 1st year for VG we went to Calgary with Mikey, Bob, Bennee and Darrell.  I have never laughed more in my entire life.
2: Filming for VG watching Louif snowboard for the first time in Quebec was so crazy, that guy is incredible.
3: I would say filming with Jordan and just watching how talented he is, it impresses me every time we go out still does to this day.
4: Watching Jake OE dodge the snake pit this year, it will be in our new movie “Shoot the Moon” so be on the look out for that.
5: Filming Jonas is definitely one of the crazier things I’ve ever seen, he does some insane shit and every time he lands or falls he has this insane chuckle every time without fail. Pretty awesome.
