So you just had surgery, how’d that go?

Well, I was in North Carolina with Foundation and we had a few minutes before this demo we were supposed to hit and decided to check out this handrail before hand. When we got there I decided to try and jump into a few front blunts and I started getting closer to sticking it and on one I just put my foot on the rail at the top, and just jumped as far back as I could and hit the ground. When I got up my wrist was broken my arm was broken with the bone sticking out, so they did surgery and gave me 13 screws and two metal plates. Never broke anything before this. Then 2 months later I’m about to get my cast off and I was playing flat ground skate landed primo and fell straight to my thumb that was in the cast and broke that, now I have 3 pins in my thumb that they plan on pulling out with pliers, just a run of bad luck in the falling department! Ahaha!

I saw that Wednesday Woe on Transworld a few months ago. Is falling your thing or what?

Nah, haha! That was just a bunch of slams put together from my Digital part, I’m more clumsy than anything.

My favorite from that thing was the second to last clip when you save the flash and do that hop step over it. How was filming for Digital’s FYI?

It was cool because Felipe and I were filming for the same video and filming with the same people so it was cool to go skate and film a bit with someone else in the video.

Do you have any upcoming projects that you’re filming for?

Yeah, I’m working on filming for the Foundation video at the moment and will be doing some trips with Theeve coming up pretty soon.

When is the Foundation video coming out?

I’m not a hundred percent but I think they are shooting for some time around Christmax.

Is the Theeve video a full on video project or a promo?

Theeve is putting out videos of all their new riders and have them talk a lil something about there trucks with a bit of skating, and I think June through July they’re gonna be doing a few trips, should be pretty awesome.

Do you enjoy the filming video parts side of skateboarding?

Yep, when I get a trick on film and it’s filmed right and was done proper, I feel good for the rest of the day like I did something with my day, then slap it together and see whatcha got!

How is the skate scene in Huntington Beach?

It’s cool it’s really laid back plus I got all my homies by me and just swoop them in the morning and shred all day.

Did you grow up there?

Nope.

Where did you grow up and how was it growing up there?

I grew up in Portland, Oregon and I love the skate scene out there plus I miss my homies back in P Town so it’s cool to go back in the summer time when it’s nice and won’t catch any of the rain that often hits Portland.

I love Portland, what made you move to Huntington Beach?

My sponsors wanted me to be a little bit closer to them, and it’s cool cause I can go in and chat with um and shred the parks and get to know everyone.

Where has skateboarding taken you?

Ooohh man, bunch a places. A lot through the U.S., going out of the country is where it’s at, I really like Toronto in the summer it’s a lot like Portland, but I would say the best place ever is Australia.

What did you like about Australia?

The weather and spots made it easy to skate.

Do you have any upcoming trips abroad? Or even domestic that you’re looking forward to?

Yeah I’m rolling to Hawaii soon, I always have a blast out there.

Of all the places you haven’t been, where do you want to visit most?

Dubai or Egypt seems like it would be pretty cool, I’ve been told there are the best spots out there!

Any bad traveling experiences?

Yeah, just about any time you lose something on a trip it sucks.

What’s your all-time favorite spot? Whether it’s somewhere growing up, or somewhere more recent since you’ve been living in California.

Park Blocks in Portland, Oregon even though it’s a bust. There is so much to skate on that strip of radness, haha.
