Happy Thanksgiving, first off. I just got home from Portland yesterday afternoon. Justin Meyer was there as well and we stayed with Darrell Mathes. It actually feels like fall there. Back at the Emporium it’s fiery hot. Or at least mildy warm.

We made a pit stop at High Cascade’s office and hung out with Preston Strout (Left) and Kevin English (Right).

Darrell and Justin talked me into having my first grilled cheese sandwich in over 20 years. I’m back!

This wolf was at a local spot in Portland, it reminded me of the wolf on Josh Mills’ Nitro board, so I elph’d it.

The next day Justin left us Darrell and I were on our own. We stopped by the Salomon/Bonfire office to hang with Java Fernandez. They have a wall with cover photos. This one is of Nick Dirks who doesn’t even ride for them, pretty cool.

I tried to snap a quick photo of Java telling a story. I even hid the camera as I auto focused it on the ground to approximately the right distance. But in the end it just took a long time and ruined the flow of Java’s story. Or actually he handled it pretty well, but still.

This place is awesome, it was my first time skating since January. I sprained my ankle, I skated for a little bit. But it hurt too much. It was too bad, the place is seriously really fun.
