Ben, our Australian distributor sent me these photos, looks like these dudes are holding it down.. down under.
Weekend at Nima’s continues. Well, it’s actually done now. But Saturday, after we snuck into the Radiohead show, we were a happy bunch and decided to go on a nocturnal bike ride. Nick Dirks and Jarad Hadi are in town now too, so maybe we’ll have a weekday at Nima’s post in a day or two. Who knows?
This is Nima dancing with his bike. Or was he losing his balance?
For some reason there were couches everywhere in Glendale that night. Here Brandon needed a break after riding about 200 feet from Nima’s front door.
Brandon needs tons of breaks.
Our nocturnal bike ride did have an objective. Nima wanted to show us the swastikas around town. Apparently it’s a pretty common thing over there. This was on a light post.
My friend Treu gave me this bike. I didn’t even notice when he gave it to me that the model is called ELANCE. That bike was meant for me.
I don’t know if it’s hard to pedal like this and keep going straight, but it’s safe to say that Brandon is a little more comfortable on his bike than both me and Nima and Nima and me, and so on.
Brandon pulling a shopping cart! How fun!
Then he let it loose right in front of poor ELANCE.
Nima’s neighbor’s had some racoons. This was the best they’d let me get of them.
Considering our track record with sneaking into the Hollywood Bowl, Nima and I along with our friends Chopak Dumpings and Hatem decided to sneak into the Radiohead show again. This time the security was grade A. No getting past them. Hatem and I quit early and retreated to his hotel room. Nima and Chopak were more zealous. Then while in the hotel room I got this text from Nima.
“We walked into the employee locker room, we got thrown out physically.”
So we all had to wait for the show to end so we could get our car out. But back to the above photo. While on my way back to the Bowl from my friend’s room, I ran into Ben Kelly and Dan Rhoades who had purchased tickets and enjoyed the show. Here they are, happy.
And this my friends, is what a car looks like on the I-5 at night driving with no headlights on. He was driving next to me for a while, I think he was trying to borrow my lights so he could see where he was going. So I just drove faster.
