Weekend at Nima’s Part One
Posted August 25th, 2008 by Lance Michael HakkerThis post is a post-a-thon for our weekend at Nima’s. I say we because Brandon was with us the whole time as well. We did our fair share of things that you wish you would have done.
We saw the Cold War Kids at Sunset Junction.
At Sunset Junction we were surrounded by straight people.
Brandon Phillips is now a model.
Brandon can also ride his bike without the use of limbs.
Nima and Brandon can only do one thing at a time, here they’re riding their bikes. I on the other hand can ride my bike, look back, and take a photograph.

1013 Coffee Shop.
Our life.
Nima’s got moves.
Brandon has moves too. This is our freestyle bike spot.
When you’re riding home from breakfast, you probably do just that, ride home. Brandon, Nima, and I nearly made the same mistake. That is until we saw this laser tag spot. So we had to give it a shot.
I sacrificed myself at the beginning for a couple of photo ops.
Nima enjoys the kill.
Nima with more moves.
Intensity!
Falcon = Lance (Yeah I won)
Gauntlent = Brandon
Reaver = Nima
Who has your back? Probably not a Silver Back.
Oooh oooh aaah aaah.
If laser tag wasn’t enough for a Sunday, we snuck into Radiohead at the Hollywood Bowl. Here is Brandon and Nate Kelly leading the way through a hidden corridor to the show. Right after this photo was taken we broke into a run.
Nima was telling me how good Radiohead is live. And now that I’ve seen them live myself, it is definitely something I recommend. This was Nima, Annette, and my second time sneaking in. We got into the Stones show a few years ago as well.

Just think,
all those people probably paid hundreds of bucks for their tickets.
You guys are sneaky.
