I just walked back into Harrison’s cave from shredding pow all day. And I check my email to see Josh Mills sent me photos from his Canada trip and some hellafied landscape shots, I’m always happy to get photos from people’s trips. I still have my boots on.

As pathetic as this sounds, today was my first pow day of the season. I’ll get some more this weekend though. I love Utah. I love Brighton. We’re working on an Elph movie as well, we’ll post it tomorrow.

Matty Ryan is in Canada right now. He’s trying to hang there for as long as he can he says and will update us with some images. Bob Plumb shot this photo, you may have heard of his brother Lizard King (the skateboarder, not Jim). Bob takes nice photos, I think the Plumb bloodline is a talented one.

Transworld’s making another trick tip movie and Justin Meyer was with Jordan Mendenhall and some other snowboarders out in Park City this week shooting. Jordan’s going to teach you switch frontside 540s.

And this is why I left Jordan out of the halfpipe contest poll. He’s just too good at it. Who knows maybe one of these guys is a sleeper pipe jock, I’ve seen Nima do alley-oop mctwists. Backside rodeo.

Nick Dirks is in Canada right now gettin’ busy for the new Transworld Video coming out this fall, These Days. Him and Joe Carlino will have some photos for us soon. In the meantime Nick sent me some photos of him and his boy Jarad Hadi skatin’ and datin’.

Jarad’s from Oregon, of course he can skate tranny.

(While proof-reading this I’m listening to ‘Spinning Wheel’ by Blood, Sweat & Tears and it makes it just that much more enjoyable. If you look at this blog with any sort of regularity you’d realize how unsuccessful my proof-reading often is. My brother Mike and Desiree Melancon always call me out..)

Desiree Melancon was flying from Calgary to Toronto on her way to Montreal. Yes I know, very foreign lands. And being the artist Desiree is she made a drawing of a horse girl. Desiree loves fantasy stuff.

Kooley and LNP Visit Norway / by admin

Jon Kooley and LNP went to Norway last month with Future Snowboarding, the plan was to shred the city and look for some black metal bands. Apparently this wasn’t the most well planned trip they’ve been on. They didn’t have any filmers so I don’t think they got too much snowboarding done, and neither of them mentioned anything about black metal.

Black metal scares me, but this looks kinda nice.
